The role:

We are seeking a Documentation Controller to support document management and engineering change processes within our PLM environment. Working closely with engineering, project, and operations teams, you will help maintain accurate documentation, support workflow execution, and ensure controlled information is managed consistently throughout the project lifecycle. This position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, process driven, and thrives in a fast-paced technical environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain documentation within the PLM system, including naming conventions, metadata, revision tracking, and document relationships.
  • Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) by ensuring required information is complete, accurate, and routed through the appropriate approval workflow.
  • Manage vendor documentation by ensuring files are properly classified, formatted, and stored within established systems.
  • Prepare controlled document packages and project submittals as required.
  • Ensure document revisions and releases are clearly tracked and communicated to maintain version accuracy across teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to clarify requirements and resolve missing or incomplete information.
  • Support consistent documentation and change management practices by updating and maintaining procedural guidance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in document control, change management, or a similar position within a technical or engineering environment.
  • Experience working within established PLM or document management systems, focused on day-to-day administration and workflow execution.
  • Familiarity with Engineering Change Order (ECO) and revision control processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple documentation workflows simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, project teams, and external partners.

Salary: $60,000 to $75,000 per year (negotiable based on your experience, qualifications, and internal equity).
