We design and build advanced industrial water treatment and lithium refining systems for some of the world's most recognized companies – in semiconductors, mining, automotive, and more. Saltworks is a 2025 Fast 50 Company and EY Entrepreneur of the Year award winner.
The role:
Saltworks Technologies is seeking an HR Generalist to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director of HR, this is a hands-on role initially focused on high-volume recruitment and onboarding. This is an on-site role at our office in Richmond, BC, with limited opportunity for remote work. You must be located in or be willing to relocate to the Lower Mainland.
Key responsibilities:
- Support full-cycle recruitment, including drafting job postings, sourcing candidates, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and assisting with job offers.
- Contribute to recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives across platforms such as the company website, LinkedIn, and Indeed.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, align on candidate profiles, and help ensure recruitment progresses in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update job postings, track applicant activity, and manage records within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support onboarding by preparing documentation and ensuring new hire information is accurately entered into our Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Provide administrative and operational support across core HR functions, including employee lifecycle changes, policy administration, and HR reporting.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as they arise.
You will be a great fit if you have:
- A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, ideally across a variety of roles.
- Hands‑on experience working in HRIS and ATS systems; familiarity with JazzHR and ADP is a plus.
- An interest in expanding into HR Generalist responsibilities beyond recruitment.
- Proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- A positive, proactive, and collaborative attitude, with the ability to take initiative and work independently when needed.
- The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
